Child Safety

At Otaku Haven, the safety of children and young people is a top priority. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform. This page describes the standards and measures we have in place to prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Our commitment
Otaku Haven strictly prohibits any content, conduct, or activity that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. This includes, without limitation:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any real, animated, drawn, or computer-generated imagery that depicts a minor in a sexual manner
- Grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation
- Solicitation of sexual content or contact from a minor
- Sextortion, or threatening to share intimate content of a minor
- Trafficking, or the promotion, facilitation, or advertising of minors for sexual purposes
- Sharing links, contact details, or any material that facilitates child sexual abuse or exploitation
Violations result in immediate content removal, account termination, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
Minimum age
Users must be at least 13 years old to use Otaku Haven. We do not knowingly permit anyone under the minimum age to create an account, and we remove accounts we identify as belonging to underage users.
Reporting and blocking
Every user can report and block others directly inside the app:
- Report — Any user, message, profile, or piece of content can be reported in-app for review by our moderation team.
- Block — Users can block any other user at any time to immediately stop all contact.
Reports involving child safety are prioritized and reviewed promptly.
How we respond
When we receive a report or otherwise become aware of potential CSAE, we:
- Review the reported content or conduct as quickly as possible
- Remove violating content and take action on the responsible account, up to and including a permanent ban
- Preserve relevant information as needed for reporting and investigation
- Report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and to other relevant authorities where required by law
